Key to Japanese corporate revitalization: New city infrastructures as Japan’s latest export industry

Infrastructure of a new city should be one that effectively combines various environmental technologies as a package, not as individual, stand-alone elements.  In creation of such a new city infrastructure, we focus on the concept of a “City OS,” the foundation of smart, affordable, and sustainable cities which can exist in harmony with the environment and be flexibly applied to small villages as well as major metropolitan areas. City Applications, additional infrastructural elements that reflect the characteristics of each region, can be then installed onto a City OS, which designs a uniquely customized new city infrastructure.  Building this new city infrastructure will be nurtured as a new Japanese export industry.
